LOOKING FOR ON-SITE TRANSLATORS

Madame or Sir,

I am looking for translators willing to accept a 6- to 12-month temporary assignment in the Portland, Oregon area. The focus of this effort is to obtain one extremely capable individual for each of Japanese, French,
Italian, German and Spanish.

These individuals will reside in the Portland area during that time and work full-time in an on-site office during core work hours Monday through Friday. Responsibilities will include: translating; editing; proofing; glossary
generation; terminology management; style-guide maintenance; and terminology coordination with translation vendors and Intel offices around the world. Content is computer-based (hardware, software) and will cover many formats (UI, help, docs, marcom, etc.)

Although they will be working for a localization team internal to Intel, they will not be considered Intel employees and will be paid hourly via a local, external vendor. There might be opportunities to become permanent Intel employees in this capacity, with full benefits, at a later time if they desire it.

I need to have these individuals report to work in 1-2 month's time at the latest.
